Cruises welcomes the BABC on board their spectacular ship “Golden
Princess.”
The Annual General Meeting will take place promptly at 12:30PM to vote
in the new
BABC LA Board of Directors.
To
comply with Homeland Security regulations, we must have your reservation,
date of birth, country of citizenship and photo ID reference number
(for Driver’s License you must give State issued; for Passport you
must give country issued) to give to Princess Cruises no later
than Wednesday, April
11, 2008. Please place your reservation with the BABC
LA office.
Directions
and parking information will be provided upon receipt of your booking.
On
the day of the AGM, please remember to bring with you the
SAME photo ID (Driver’s License or Passport) used at the time
your reservation was made!

Meeting begins promptly
at 11:30
Please remember
to bring the photo identification you provided with your registration
(i.e. Driver’s License, Passport). You must bring a PHOTO ID.
You must have a confirmed reservation to board the ship and attend the
Meeting.
Take the 405 North/South to the 110 south
(Harbor Freeway). Proceed towards the harbor and just before the
Channel Street exit you will see a large sign for the cruise terminal.
This will instruct you to take the Harbor Blvd. Exit which is the
next exit after Channel. The freeway splits at this point
and you will veer to the right as though you may be going towards the
Vincent Thomas Bridge. Be sure to follow the sign for the Harbor
Exit.
As you veer to the right to the Harbor
exit (get over to the far right) you will come down a hill to a
traffic light. You will be facing the entrance to the cruise terminal
and can see the ship.
Drive into the terminal and turn right
to the booth. The attendants will either direct you into the terminal
parking or to the parking near the Catalina terminal. If you are
directed to the Catalina parking there is a shuttle service that will
bring you to the ship. Parking is approximately $10. Carpooling
is recommended.
Enter the terminal building on the ground
floor; go up the escalator and look for the signs for the BABC registration.
After the luncheon, you will be free
to tour the ship, but you must disembark no later than 3:15 PM. Do not
forget to retrieve your IDs from the terminal building before leaving
the port.
