A vital chapter dedicated to our members, the BABC LA hosts a variety of business, social, cultural and sporting events to meet their needs. Our members, who represent a cross-section of industries, have a broad range of skills and interests, in addition to one common goal: the opportunity to liaise with like-minded individuals who support the objectives of the BABC and all things British.

Membership Levels
- Membership in the largest British American transatlantic business association (2,000 companies representing over 12,000 senior executives.)
- Opportunities to promote services and projects to other BABC member companies on the BABC LA website, as well as through advertising and sponsorships.
- Invitations at discounted prices to attend BABC LA events and programs, which include the Distinguished Speaker Series Breakfasts, Business Mixers, Conferences, and other events that are promoted through the BABC.
- A paragraph introducing the member in the BABC LA E-Newsletter / Social media.
Corporate Membership is inclusive of two (2) individuals per business
- Facilitated access through the BABC LA and BABC to Government Offices in the US and UK as well as the UK Regional Development Agencies; facilitated access into our UK/US business networks and local strategic alliances.
- Membership in the largest British American transatlantic business association (2,000 companies representing over 12,000 senior executives.)
- Access to the J1 Visa Program which enables qualified employees to come to the US for training and work experience through a fast, efficient and cost effective processing service.
- Opportunities to promote services and projects to other BABC member companies on the BABC LA and BABC national website, through member discounts, as well as through advertising and sponsorships.
- Invitations to attend BABC LA events and programs, which include the Distinguished Speaker Series Breakfasts, Business Mixers, Conferences, and other events that are promoted through the BABC.
- Preferred placement and seating at Annual BABC LA events.
- A paragraph introducing the member company in the BABC LA E-Newsletter including a 50-100 word introduction, a link and contact information. A second opportunity to send out updated company information any time through out the year in the newsletter.

Premier Membership is inclusive of four (4) individuals per business
- Corporate logo and hyperlink on the BABC LA Website
- Facilitated access to strategic partnerships with the British Consulate and UK Trade & Investment, and to Government Offices in the US and UK, UK Regional Development Agencies, UK/US business networks and local strategic alliances e.g. Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation.
- Participation in our strategic alliance with the British Consulate Los Angeles including invitations to private events for visiting high level UK and US business executives and government leaders.
- Quarter page ad in the Christmas Luncheon program.
- Invitations to Member-only events as well as Member discounts for all BABC LA events, and passes for your company executives and business partners at selected business networking events.
- Facilitated access to the BABC J1 Visa Program that enables qualified employees and their families to come to the US quickly, easily and cost effectively.

I have been involved with the BABC on many levels: member, Director, President and Chairman. There have been two constant themes. Firstly, the opportunity to meet and get to know people and their businesses sharing a common Anglo American theme. Secondly, exposure for smaller companies to network and propagate business, while large multinationals support and assist Anglo American businesses to flourish. The BABC’s strength is in the way it facilitates the ability to trade, sell or service. After 30 years, I can simply say that a part of my business, social and personal life has been positively impacted by the people who make up the BABC
The British American Business Council is a dynamic organisation, supporting and promoting the free flow of trade and investment across the North Atlantic. It is effectively building a business bridge to serve as the prime trade highway linking the wider markets of the European Union and the North American Free Trade Agreement partnership.
The US/UK business relationship continues to provide a secure foundation for growth and prosperity in our two countries, and also far beyond, as firms use it as a basis to reach out to areas of greater uncertainty. The BABC is playing an increasingly important role in promoting this relationship, and has earned the support that it enjoys from businesses, and business leaders, throughout the US and UK.
